The reeking smell of marijuana burns my nostrils. I pinch the bridge of my nose and feel a headache coming. I pass the corner and see the recognizable, attractive man sitting on the park bench directly in front of me. I look down at my shoes and awkwardly make my way towards him as I feel his eyes glued to me. I look up and see him smiling at me, so I give him a shy, awkward smile.
He pats the seat next to him. "Don't be shy." He says too calmly, making it obvious that he's high.
I sit down next to him uncomfortably, feeling as if I don't belong here with him. He switches the blunt to his right hand and motions his hand towards me offering me the blunt. I look at the smoke as it faintly flies away with the wind. I slightly shake my head and push the blunt away.
"Daniella, take a risk for once. It's three in the morning, we're all alone." He says, dazed.
I look at him and his eyes are bloodshot. He slowly leans in and gently presses his lips against mine.

I take another gulp of my crown and coke trying to forget the last few hours of work. I'm at the lowest I've ever been in my life. I've always been responsible but for once I don't care and just needed a break so I found myself here at this bar in the not so good part of town. I wanted a place where no one would recognize me and I found it. I take another gulp and finish my drink. "Mind if I sit?" I hear him say. His voice is smooth but masculine. I know his type before I even turn to see him. I signal the bartender for another one ignoring him. I hear his foot steps retreat and I'm a little surprised. I thought he'd put more effort like the last few guys before him but I guess not. The bartender brings me another and I look up, my curiosity getting the best of me. Damn, he's sex in a suit. I take a big drink to calm my nerves, feeling the effects of the liquor. He sat two stools away and is ordering for himself. I scan his body. He's got a tattoo peaking out of his collar and he's dressed in a three piece suit and tie, all black. Screw it, I think and walk over careful not to lose my balance. After a few drinks it's harder than I thought and I almost trip. The alcohol in me is making me brave so I keep going. He looks like a dark Angel or is he the Devil in disguise I wonder? Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?"
