The reeking smell of marijuana burns my nostrils. I pinch the bridge of my nose and feel a headache coming. I pass the corner and see the recognizable, attractive man sitting on the park bench directly in front of me. I look down at my shoes and awkwardly make my way towards him as I feel his eyes glued to me. I look up and see him smiling at me, so I give him a shy, awkward smile.
He pats the seat next to him. "Don't be shy." He says too calmly, making it obvious that he's high.
I sit down next to him uncomfortably, feeling as if I don't belong here with him. He switches the blunt to his right hand and motions his hand towards me offering me the blunt. I look at the smoke as it faintly flies away with the wind. I slightly shake my head and push the blunt away.
"Daniella, take a risk for once. It's three in the morning, we're all alone." He says, dazed.
I look at him and his eyes are bloodshot. He slowly leans in and gently presses his lips against mine.

"And who the fuck are you?" I asked rudely, squinting at the man standing behind me. His eyes inspected my face before locking with mine. "Some who's going to stop you from getting alcohol poisoning." He responded and I tilted my head at his deep voice. I inspected the unwanted babysitter, taking in his dark blue stylish trench coat he donned, the way his black hair was slicked back, but waves clearly visible. A stranger. I turned back to the bar, waving Sam down. "I don't know you." I finally speak. "I don't know you either, but i do know that you don't have a ride to go anywhere after this, so taking that drink will only make you lose your self awareness even more than you already have," He responded, and I pause, the glass almost touching my lips, before I threw it back, closing my eyes and letting the burn consume me. Once the moment was over, I stood up, placing four twenties on the counter next to the empty glass. "Since you seem to care so much about my wellbeing, give ma a ride." I folded my arms over my chest and locked my eyes with him which proved to be a task itself. He was a giant, taller than me even in heels. He let out a chuckle, a small dimple appearing on his right cheek...

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!?
