He was a boy forced to grow up too fast. Edgy, street-smart, and quiet. Is he really the quick witted bounty hunter he pretends to be, or is there more hiding in his soft heart. 

What happens when the boy who vowed to never care for anyone but himself realizes he has a soft spot for the wildfire of a girl he saved? Will they survive long enough to discover her past, and maybe get a taste of freedom?
