After taking part in a successful experiment gone wrong by Borg, Kai lands in another universe with no memory of his life at all. While the ninja are trying to find a way to get to Kai, he fights alongside familiar allies who are a part of a multiversal law enforcement organization called the Guardians of Multi-jago. They need to protect their universes from a threat in the form of the Evil Kai-chen and Overzane, both evil variants of the red and white ninja.
