They get really close and that friend moves in with her. They have had lots of ups and downs in their life, but they've always ended up as friends in the end. But in grade 8, something happened that will stay with her for the rest of her life...

Seventeen years old Sam Adams doesn't do well with people. He prefers staying home on the weekends and staying away from parties. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go.
