It wasn't supposed to happen like this. He wasn't supposed to be cheating, he said he loved me. but it turns out he was just using me. 

I felt useless i couldn't do anything. To many deaths, to many accidents. I couldn't of foreseen this coming! Otherwise I would of found some way to stop it. It wasn't my fault, but i felt so guilty.

I, Rowan Tatum Harper, felt guilty and at fault. I caused these deaths. But I didn't.

At the age of seventeen Rowan was in a car accident that caused almost a five car pile up, and a road closure. Only two deaths happened, but it pained her. She felt at fault.

Jesse Quentin Ryder lost family in the accident. He was so depressed as they were all that was left of his fucked up family. He didn't hate Rowan, he knew it wasn't her fault. The way she beat herself up over the accident killed him inside, what it did to him wasn't half as bad as what it had done to her.

They never knew each other, but are thrown together by the sad occurrence.

Growing up in a large, middle-class (if not lower) family had its challenges. More than I can account for actually. I had five older sisters and two older brothers. Throw me into the mix and that's a grand total of eight children living under one roof. If my mom hadn't stopped with yours truly, we would have definitely been able to form an entire soccer team with just our family alone. I can't recall much of my childhood and exactly how I interacted with each and every one of my siblings, but I can assure you that it was nowhere near a nice walk through the park.
