Felix had seen faerie circles before. Everyone had. As children, they were taught to get away as fast as possible when encountering a faerie circle, lest an actual faerie appear. Faeries were dangerous creatures. They were cunning and cruel and would do anything to trick a human. Felix learned these rules, but didn't listen to them very often.
