Maeve lives in a small medieval town set on a big island, she has sworn to protect all that is innocent against the Oncepure, her father taught her a few moves before his disappearance. One day when she runs into some Oncepure at the market, they take her captive, she learns she is  part of a secret race that went endangered a millennia ago, this race inhabits the ability to pull from the energies around Erus (the name of their world). 

She ventures beyond her town in search for answers, but when she visits a nearby town Centrum she uncovers some longtime friends of her father Arthur of Aungaurd.

This story is a long read, romance doesn't fully start until chapter 5. Also I'm only 15 so if it's not your perfect read I'm up for critiquesAll Rights Reserved
