Violet Adams was only eight years old in Boston when the cordyceps outbreak occurred, she was left behind after watching her parents suffer dying tragically with a six month old sister, Lily, to protect, to keep alive, she was no longer a child as she forced herself to grow up and get shit done.
Over the years in Boston, her reputation for being cold and merciless spread as she grew in power, no one knew her name, but as soon as your home was marked you were dead.

Maybe it was because of her insane combat skills or maybe it was when she shot, she never missed.
Happy endings aren't meant for the apocalypse but he gave her solace.
Joel Miller lost his daughter on outbreak night and could never forgive himself for his failure. When he met the fearsome Blood Lily when Tess brings her to his doorstep. They did not like each other at first or even after but as they spend time together travelling to transport Ellie to the fireflies, they soon realise they have more in common then realised.
Happy endings aren't made for the apocalypse but she gave him peace.

Daliah is a 38 year old woman in the apocalypse and lost her son to Fedra, when her son was barely two years old and therefore not old enough to remember his mother and since the day that Fedra took her son from Daliah, the woman has only 1 goal and that is to find her son and kill the people who took her son from her, just because her boyfriend at the time, thought she was not fit to be a mother in the apocalypse and thought she was going to neglect her son, but Daliah will not rest, until she puts a bullet through the head of the man who took her son, and all the people who helped him, and Daliah only knows one emotion, anger, nothing else, not since her son was torn from her arms. But everything changes when Daliah meets Joel Miller, a man who lost his daughter the day the world ended and has been closed off ever since and barely speaks to anyone except her and a woman named Tess and through a stupid misunderstanding it happens that Joel, Daliah and Tess have to take two girls to the fireflys and those girls are Ellie and Violet and they might just change the course of the world.
