No blood given, leeches, bruises nor doctor could adequately define what exactly had broken Rowan so sufficiently as to ensure their demise, but surely there had been something. If nothing else then it was the silence that followed their birth. A telltale indication of their wrongness as they'd been silent and cold when they came into this world - the very same moment that their own mother passed on from it.
