Annelise Atkinson, the foreigner. Lucas Machado, the local. It's hard to grasp the fact that you can be a local and a foreigner. The world, or a place, is seen into those 2 perspectives everyday. If you're a local, you want to get out of where you live when you can. But if you're a tourist or new, it all feels good. So optimistic. Lucas is tired of the same routine: wake up, socialize, sleep. Rinse, repeat. Nothing feels new, nothing is exciting anymore. Just suffocating. Everyone knows everything about any citizen. He's had dinner in every house of his suburbs. Explored every hang out place. Annelise sees moving from her country as a good start, maybe Florida wasn't meant to be. The always warm weather, sun, splendid beaches and surf turned to be tiring. Maybe she could find a new start in beautiful green cities and antique villages, or on an old and full of history bar concentration. We learn with time that there are people who can make you stay, who can change your perspective on a place you're forced to call home. Maybe they can make you enjoy that place. cover by: @n0tte_n3ra
