Y/N Serine is Ben's favorite (only) little sister. WICKED captured her and her Brother Ben 2 years before The Maze Trials began. Y/N and Newt fell in love and became boyfriend and girlfriend, but unfortunately a few months after they became bf and gf they had to be split up and sent into The Maze.
WICKED sent them up separately into the maze one by one with each new month. All of their memories were wiped and then they were sent up to The Maze as test subjects. Before Newt was sent into the Maze he promised with promise ring that he would always remember their Love and Y/N promised the same with a promise ring she got him.

PROLOGUE 1 year ago "I can't let you go, not now" I say holding Newt's hand outside the room where they sent the subjects up into the maze. "Your not letting me go (Y/N), your just saying see you soon" Newt says and pulls me into a hug and I start to cry. "I won't remember you. We won't be..." "Hey, we will find each other, I promise. I love you" Newt says and kisses the top of my head. "I love you too" "Newt, it's time to go" Ava says as she stands beside us Newt then kisses me one more time and let's go of my hand and follows Ava. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up to see my 14 year old brother Thomas and I hug him. "We can watch him everyday (Nickname), he's still with us" Thomas says "But it's not the same.
