Darkness Reins

Sauron and Merci. A very powerful duo. Powerful together, than apart. A vow, a powerful promise, was made the day they were wed. If one was to die before the other, the other would follow soon after.

The vow was made centuries ago... when Sauron was Mairon. The two have since become, immortal. Mairon turned to Sauron and Merci followed his lead in becoming immortal. The Witch King soon came along, and has drawn a wedge between the two. He fawns over Merci, to much for Sauron's liking. Soon, his jealously turned violent. Sauron takes his jealous rage out on Merci, leaving physical scars along her body. But she never strays from him, she loves him to much. One day she grows tired of his smart comments and beatings, and so she begins to pry. Causing him to break into a panic and cry and break down. Confessing his fears and truth.

Could they, fix their problems? Or will she continue to turn from him?
