Edris is a master of chaos, and as a professional assassin, it is literally their job to mess up people's lives. They have no idea just how much chaos their new project will cause, but it quickly becomes clear that their boss won't stop until the whole world revolves around them. Edris didn't want to destroy everything that they've ever known, but now they're caught in the middle of a large conspiracy, and they need to find a way out.
Marinne barely has to lift a finger to tear down a whole city, but when an old acquaintance comes back into her life, things become more complicated. She must get rid of her past in order to make it to the top, and it seems like her former friend is doing everything in their power to keep her from moving forward, and they won't go away.
Taalia has always been powerful. She dreamed of leading her own kingdom someday, just like her father, but when he removes her from the line of succession, she has to build her life back up from nothing. She concocts a master plan to take over the nearby kingdom of Edrealon and earn her throne, but if anyone finds out, her scheme could rip apart fragile foreign relations and lead to war.
When their paths cross, these three young adults have to fight to be the one on top. With their conflicting agendas, chaotic lives, and numerous enemies, no one can tell friend from foe. Will one defeat the others and rise to greatness, or will their stories all end in catastrophes?
