Certain day, going to the bedroom that belonged to his great-grandfather-Porchay-with the purpose of fulfilling the man's last wish, Venice can't resist curiosity and ends up opening the box that the elder wished to take with him to his grave. Inside it, there were vinyl discs and other clippings of a forbidden love story, carefully involved with a red cloth, its edges enclosed with a golden pin.
Among the patches, Venice observed an announcement related to the record of "Fade", a song found posthumously to the tragic death of a musician called WIK, in the voice of a consecrated artist of 1970's. In addition, he found an old picture in which his relative is by that mysterious singer's side, smiling in a way that the great-grandson had never witnessed before, even upon years of cohabitating with the man.
Therefore, the hidden and bitter memories were unveiled. Otherwise, they would be fated to die with their owner.
The reader is invited to accompany the memories of a dramatic romance, realistic, erotic, intense and melancholic, in which a musician and an amateur composer get involved with each other heavily, experiencing a romance that was known to be impossible since the beginning.

"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
