Henry is used to being beaten. Every night after dinner he has to accompany his father into the bedroom. He has to pull his pants down and his father hits him with a shoe horn or birch bark. Once, blood splatters far up the walls.
At school, Henry is the leader of a gang that commits crimes. When the gang gets caught, Henry has to drop out of school.
Henry sends to the St Patric boarding school. Now he wont get hit by his father anymore. But Henry refuses to obey the schools rules. He resists the older students. And the punishment will only be worse than at home, much worse.
