"Clementines" is the story of a sophomore girl discovering a story, her story. Trying to understand the meaning of hurt, joy, friendships, all while carrying others emotions on her shoulders. Tackling it all means learning what it means to be at peace with uncertainty. Melina just wanted to know what it felt like to choose herself for once. Through sitting in meadows just thinking, to watching her friends get wasted, Melina discovers the truth of love. Not just romantic love, but platonic love, deep love, self-love, world love, love in general has many meanings. No matter the excuses, her life was on her own shoulders, she had to carry it and learn from it.
