Marah and Maya were biological sisters, Marah was 17 and Maya was 16. When they were early teens they had gotten into a terrible car crash where their parents both died and they were then placed into a foster system where they were later adopted. Their step parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee were terrible to them, they treated both sister's as if they were their maids and the girls would often get hit by their step parents and bullied at school. One day there was a visitor at the Lee's and the news that the girl's were about to receive was something they'd never expect their step parents to do.
