Swarnalekha entered the Raizada mansion for attending her best friend, Mrignaini Devi Raizada's wedding. But it sparked events she never expected. Swarnalekha Johari, the only daughter of the Indian diamond merchant, the literal princess of the diamond empire, has crushed on her best friend's second elder brother, Ranvijay Raizada, for about half a decade, but destiny has a different path decided for her. Studied business management at Yale University she was a badass businesswoman operating beside her father but just as soft and fragile on the emotional front.

Digvijay Singh Raizada, the eldest among his siblings, the heir to the throne, a well-known conglomerate in the world of hotels and resorts. He was feared not because he belonged to the royal family, but because of his no-nonsense attitude. He was always ruthless to the world, and a protective elder brother. Even though the royals had no real importance in independent India they are still respected just as much.

Ranvijay Singh Raizada, second eldest, nothing like his elder brother, a womanizer, never had a proper relationship because according to him he never found anyone who would want to make him marry. While there is something that he feels for Swarnalekha, he still doesn't want to marry. So approaching her would be dangerous as she is his younger sister's friend and a literal princess to the diamond empire. Also, he hated being rejected, so never mind.
