It's been twelve years since the treaty was agreed between humans and vampires who roamed the earth for centuries. We lived in peace until a vampire virus called 'Fading Fever' was discovered by scientists.

Isla is a shy and quiet woman, who works the night shift to her dismay. She's frightened when the sun sets and darkness creeps in. That's when hungry vampires roam the streets of her small town looking for virus-free blood to quench their thirst.

Isla's blood is amongst the few that are uninfected by the virus, jeopardizing her safety at every corner. She needs protection! And the magnetic Nikolai, the one who lives down Penrose Lane, is the vampire to offer it.
