Cordoba; a city where water is a luxury. A city that sleeps through the day to avoid the sun. A city where a young man has been murdered in the most expensive fashion. ADDIS BAASHAR,  a diplomat from the Republic of Andalucia, while travelling to the city, finds himself involved in the investigation to find the killer. He finds himself in an uncomfortable and unwelcome partnership with Detective ALVARO DIAZ, angry and bitter at the world. The two will have to overcome their differences, and wade through the murky underworld of a city on the verge of collapse, choking out for water, to bring the killer to justice.
