Because of her family name, Alexandra Turner is scrutinized a lot. There is no doubt that Turner Records is the biggest and most successful record label in the world. However, it's for this exact reason she's not exactly forth coming with her last name when she meets new people since it's caused her to be treated differently in the past.

Her parents, Hank Turner is the CEO of Turner Records, and one of the biggest artists of all time, Lilly Stone met when Lilly became one of her dads first and biggest Artists he has signed before falling in love.

Producing came naturally to her, having grown up surrounded by music but the dream of taking over her father's label one day didn't fit her. She prefers to leave the ass kissing to her older brother Daniel, who dreams of taking her dad's place.

Since her dad is unable to hear her sing due to his own demons, Alex shows her talents under the alias Daphne until he will finally listen.

One day, Daniel takes a risk on the fast-rising metal band Cryptic Oath and he hopes Alex's capable hands will make their dad's gamble worthwhile. A Tik Tok video of Cryptic Oath performing at a music festival caught Daniel's eye. In part because Oscar is a 6'4, tattooed, long haired cutie, but also for his godlike vocal range.

Oscar is the opposite of who she usually dates or likes, but when he walks into the studio, she is unable to think of anyone else. Given Oscar's reserved and quiet demeanor, which appears more extreme around her, she doubts he feels the same. Little does she know, Oscar feels the same pull toward her.
