You and MK have been besties for years now, so when his mystic monkey arc started you weren't really surprised. It's been a while since that whole thing started. You first met Sun Wukong when Mk had decided that you should show the sage your master building. Shockingly to you, he hasn't really heard of it before. So, here you are now climbing up Flower Fruit Mountain, as Monkey King wanted to see more of your master building in a sort of one to one training. Soon enough, shit gets weird.

A Son Of Two Dad's

[ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn. Macaque's Successor
The reader is MK's non-identical twin sister. When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother. A/n-The reader has the exact same powers Macaque has, like aquatic breathing, enhanced hearing, Shadow Manipulation, Shadow Cloning, Shadow Monkeys, Shadow Transportation, Shadow Hiding, Smoke Generation, and shape-shifting. Reader is female for this one !! I made this because of my newfound obsession with LMK (Lego Monkie Kid, go watch it if you haven't, I recommend!) and also because of my love for Monkey King. Watched 'Amnesia Rules' and one thing lead to another! I adored Sun Wukong's mannerisms and enthusiasm in this episode and I thought, 'hey why not make a lil fanfic based around a young Wukong in his Journey to the West?' so here we are dear readers.
