Highland Springs was known for having the lowest crime rate in the state, so when Jessica's family moved there the first week of Freshman year, they expected to be safe. However, low crime rates don't necessarily equate to safety, and the local ice cream truck doesn't just stick around to meet the citizen's sweet-tooth needs. When Jessica's brother goes missing, she digs deeper and discovers a secret that unravels a 20-year-old cold case that brings the Ice Cream King to his knees.
