Avery McKnight is an aerospace engineer who was shot down mid-flight in a high-speed space chase and left for dead on the desert planet Gars G2V.
The harsh conditions make it difficult for him to survive. There is no food, water, or shelter... and violent dust storms sweep through the dunes are relentless speeds. The days are sweltering while the nights are unpleasant and frigid.
DESOLATE documents all the audio logs he kept during the endless days he spent trying to devise a means to track down his blown-up shuttle which was his only chance at escaping. To get there, he must embark on a wild trek several hundred miles along the desert coast with a slim chance of getting to his destination alive.
All the odds are against him. Violent extra-terrestrial predators lurk in the shadows awaiting to tear him apart.
It will take more than just might and strength to survive this.
