The light came around again into the trees where Hans and the guide man were. Just then a shout rang out from the tower. Some shooting followed and more loud sharp talking. Hans and the man with him hid behind trees. Five long shadows with machine guns were moving along the wall. They dispersed through the woods with flash lights and loud talking. Helen could tell all was not well on the other side. She saw that the spotlight was facing the woods where her beloved Hans was. Would they catch him? Inspired by a true story, the exciting, thrilling, and inspiring story of a Christian family in the midst of 1940 Germany and their escape from Hitler's Nazi party. Amid the terrors of World War II, a family narrowly escapes Russian soldiers, death, and many more perils. The Miller family will go through harsh times of being separated, to escaping at midnight. They embark on a journey to freedom. All they have to rely on is God. Their firm faith in their protector will keep them strong until they reach freedom.
