My feet sank into the damp, muddy earth as I fled through the field. I could feel my heart pounding rapidly against my bruised chest, and I could hear his rasping breath as he chased after me. Ryker happened to be in the coffee and witnessed the man harassing Talia and asked the guy to leave her alone that she was his fiance. She was shocked but went a long with it, the man started stalking her, to keep her safe and figure out if he was connected to her parents murder he asked her to move in with him. While he posed as her fiance, he tried showing her the world and tried to get her to fall in love with him. Will it work? Or will she leave once they find out who the killer is?
