The moment they met eyes back on the outskirts of Atlanta, Abby and Daryl had a spark, but she remained faithful to Shane, even though he had failed to do so and never fully let go of Lori. Now that Shane is gone, Abby finds herself opening up to Daryl and learning to trust again. Without even realizing they bring out the best in each other and learn to see the bright side of the end of days.
This is the sequel to my Shane Walsh fanfiction, Forfeit. You don't have to read the first one to understand the second book but it is recommended. I'm so excited that I decided to do a Daryl Dixon fanfiction and I hope its as well liked as my first book. Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
