Doodle World: A Hard-Knock Life
This is a story loosely based off of my gameplay of Doodle World, changing some things up to make it more interesting, such as changing the starter for lore reasons, Along with making it similar to a nuzlocke, making Doodle deaths permanent. There will be a butterfly effect that causes the story to slowly diverge.
When music is played, it will be played for the duration of the battle or the area.
The nuzlocke will have these rules.
- After a Doodle faints, they turn to dust and perish. (The only doodle that is an exception is Fawnook, which is easier to evolve due to evolving upon death in here.)
- You may only capture the first (uniquely obtained) doodle in every route, but different areas (Such as Soil Patches and Shallow Waters from Crystal Caverns) are considered different areas to obtain one doodle from.
- All doodles must be named.
- Gift doodles or doodles obtained from other sources may be allowed. (Borrowed doodles do not perish, and they only faint like normal. Though, most Gift doodles will still perish, with the exception of Mira, due to being originally from another trainer with a Blue String.)
- Item use in battles is BANNED, with the exception of Dungeons, due to the extremely different gameplay loop.
