Earth is past saving, but to save the human race, six ships leave the planet to start over. When one of the ships is forced to do an emergency landing on a planet triple Earth's size, we are taken hostage in a Giant's castle and then sold. Although they feed us, I'm not fooled. Everything about them is designed to kill, so it's only a matter of time. Even if I have to do it on my own, I will find my way back to the ship that brought us here and leave this planet.

Getting called into an emergency meeting isn't how I would choose to spend the afternoon, but as Commander, I'm obligated to attend. Small beings landed on our planet, and per my king's orders- We're keeping them. My people are excited to have new pet types- cute ones at that- but I suspect they're capable of more than my king believes.

The distant future. The war between androids and humanity has recently ended. The humans barely won, losing many technologies. A little time has passed, and a new threat has emerged. The emperor of one of the empires wants to enslave everyone, and the Republic of free planets is forced to enter the war. The Republic's scientists invent a new engine, but it needs a lot of gold. One of the ships of the free planets goes to a newly discovered, backward planet. It is inhabited by humans, but communication with other planets has long been lost, and the people have slipped into a feudal-slave system. The scientists on the ship can't directly show their presence because of the rules and decide to turn some crew members into gods so they can collect gold. But first, the scientists decide to organize a rebellion on the planet. The godlike have to face many difficulties.
