Samantha Black is quite the uncommon Witch you might find. Her parents are guards of House Wrath in the underworld, and she fully expects to take their place one day. But she finds herself in a bine after her parent's untimely death. The king summons her to court and forces her hand in elegance to house Wrath. She later learns that her parents were not as great as her aunt Emmy had talked about. Once she discovers their secrets, she opens up doors to her new life and the war that breathes over the horizon every day.
