Shoto is the youngest of four in the Todoroki Family Monarchy. His father.. was and still is abusive. He's next in line for the throne, since his father decided none of his other siblings deserved it.

Izuku is a young boy living in the woods with his single mother. He and his friends, who live in the towns of the kingdom, love to explore around where they're not supposed to. 

When Izuku realizes what happens behind the castle walls in one of his explorations, does he help a traumatized prince?

To add fuel to the fire, Todoroki was also staying behind, having no desire to return home to his father. Tokoyami is there to, but the three boys hardly notice him. He notices them though. Them, and all there strange behavior towards each other. Imagine his confusion when the summer break ends and so does the boys' 'friendliness' towards each other. Was it Just for the Summer?
