Misaki was an orphan of the Uzumaki clan, separated from her parents before she can remember. During the war she found fellow orphans Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato and they became the only family she had ever known.
One day the kids ran into the legendary sanin, whatever that meant, and one of them stayed to help the kids and write a novel. His name was Jiraiya and he became like a father to them. However, one day he decided it was time for him to leave and the kids were to stay behind and fend for themselves with the knowledge he'd bestowed upon them.
