My son suspects I'm sleeping with his girlfriend.
The idea is ridiculous. I would never.
Am I tempted? I'm an unattached, red-blooded, straight man, so yeah. Madison is smart, beautiful, and sweet. And at twenty-two, way too young for me. And a virgin, too.
(Well she was until she met me. I don't know how that happened.)
Does my son catch me and her in bed together? Kind of. But I convince him that she was lonely I was simply being a good host and keeping her company.
I think he believes me. (He's not very bright. Don't look at me, his mom and I have three PhDs between us.)
For the record, I only accidentally invited her to live at my house until she found a better apartment. I didn't think he'd agree to it. But he thinks it's a great idea. (Did I mention he's not too bright? I swear we're related. We even got DNA tests to prove it.)
As houseguests go, Madison is ... okay, I guess. Sure, she has the habit of sneaking into my bed and leaving her clothes on the floor. And using my lap as a seat when there are plenty of chairs around.
It's a bit annoying, really.
I have to constantly remind her that nothing inappropriate is going to happen between us. She agrees, but I think she forgets sometimes. Like when she goes down on me. Accidentally.
It happens a lot.
When Chef Margot loses her beloved restaurant to her cheating ex-fiance, her best friend, single dad Nathan, steps in with an unexpected offer to help her start over. As they collaborate, sparks fly-but can they overcome their complicated pasts for a chance at real love?
