This was never the life the Winchesters wanted for their children. It certainly wasn't the life Mary wanted for her boys. Life on the road, changing schools two to three times a month. Chasing monsters that would normally be fairytales to anyone else.

John didn't want this for them, but he wasn't willing to give up what was left of his family, either. Dean, his oldest, never had a childhood. Not a real one where he could actually be a kid. Dean filled the role of father more than John did, since he was hardly ever around.

Sam... well... Sam never wanted any part of that life. Even as a little kid, he and John butted heads over their mission. A mission of vengeance for the death of a parent he never had the chance to meet. His mother.

Then, there was Abigail. She came into their lives rather late. Hell, she came into their lives late enough that any one of them could have been her father. But the clincher was the call that came with her.All Rights Reserved

Just his dad knows that he is the hero. he starts losing everyone else as the job filds his life more and more. Sam hates him because he feels like Dean doesn't care about him. Cas is also distant. Dean has always had a big crush on Cas. But he believes Cas couldn't like him anyway, at least not now. his life is getting more misreabale by the time that passes. he just wants everything to end. this is a rewriting of the original but its so much better and has more stuff so its so worth reading:)
