The Senator's Maid

"Goodbye Antonia." My uncle said waving as he dropped me off in a mansion on banana island.

As expected I knew there would be a twist in the story of my life.
I think am always the type to be disposed.

"Introduce yourself." The stern looking steward commanded.
"I'm Antonia Adebayo." I stated meekly.
"Follow me." The man called as he walked into the living room of the mansion.
"Ma,here she is." He said to a delicate looking middle aged woman polishing her nails.
"Is this her?" The woman asked.
"Yes ma'am." The steward responded.
Without taking a second glance at me,
"Dispose her." She said.
"Is that how you do the selection?"a sturdy masculine voice questioned from behind.
"Retain her." He commanded.

Who is he? Why did he ask me to be retained?
Those questions flowed through my mind.
