Warm Waters

After 3 years of traveling, a peasant girl with a powerful but damning secret reaches her destination - the beautiful city surrounded by misty, flowery swampland and lagoons. A beautiful place to hide away from prying eyes.
As long as she remains unseen by the locals, especially the royal family, she is safe.

And that is when she is noticed.

This cover is temporary, mainly because it's someone else's art (I don't remember who's, do tell in the comments if you know - some recognition for their excellent art would be great) but also because I want to make this cover as good as possible and that means making my own art for it.

I also now realize that I'm going to look back on this story and think that this is the pinnacle of cringe and piss poorly written - but that's the point. It will mean that I've grown as a writer.
