Mature
Eighteen months after Z-day a group of survivors is doing everything they can to dodge the living dead and guard their limited resources while hunting for any stockpiles of inhalers because a little boy in their group has asthma. Just as they are running out of time and hope their path crosses with a mysterious woman who saves the day. Cooper, Lucas, and Everett try to figure out Ivy's story as they make a case that the apocalypse would be better if she left her group and joined them instead.

This isn't a blood and gore zombie novel, but rather a why-choose romance set within the zombie apocalypse with over protective men and a heroine that is anything but a damsel in distress.

Rise of the Dead | II

28 parts Ongoing Mature

The battle against the invasive Black Masks leaves the entire Valley reeling, the effects of which have become nearly unbearable. On top of being faced with new responsibilities, Phoenix is now left perturbed by Hawk's sudden coldness after Aleu's subsequent death. As the situation grows more and more dire, the Saviors and Reapers are still fighting more than ever. The two groups can't afford to lose any more people. Once again Hawk and Phoenix are forced to work together for the sake of their people, especially when given an impossible task. Meanwhile Aleu wakes up in the city, countless miles from where they had supposedly been mercy-killed. Faced with complete strangers that had taken them in-and their frustratingly calm leader Khan-they must learn to either assimilate or return to their abusive Keepers. ___________ Recommended to read both Wake of the Dead and Rise of the Dead (1) before continuing. Age recommendation is 18+ due to harsh language, (mild) sexual situations and violence. This story involves a character recovering from emotional trauma and SA. Nothing graphic or non-consensual is depicted, nor taken lightly.
