Seventeen years old Sam Adams doesn't do well with people. He prefers staying home on the weekends and staying away from parties. He has only one friend- and that's his older sister, who is now off to college, leaving Sam to spend his days at home with his mom and his painting. Until one day, his mother decides to transfer him to an all-boy boarding school, thinking that will force her son to socialize. But Sam didn't tell her that at his old school, he was being bullied. The broken arm she thought had occurred from falling was actually caused by bullies. Now in his new school, Sam learns that everyone has a club they belong to. This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. Brandon and Beth struggle to watch her attempt suicide, feel broken and begin to start rumors about each other causing to mess with Amy's mind. Will Amy and Beth continue on with their friendship?
