Sam and Dean are working to close the Gates of Hell when they get wind from the demons they were fighting that Castiel, the angel, had been captured. The men managed to get the location of their friend but in the heat of the battle, Sam broke his arm. Dean goes about finding their friend with the hunter, Garth, and when they enter the warehouse where the angel was said to be, they were oddly met with no one. The only being in the room was Castiel, in angel binding cuffs, on the ground and a bloody mess. Dean's emotions for the angel start to bubble over when he realizes that Cas was not healing properly after they bring him back to the bunker. He finds it harder and harder to pretend like he does not have feelings for his friend until he finally gives in but does the angel feel the same way?

During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him.
