the zombie apocalypse finally happened. every where we looked another walker. we're never safe. everyone in our group are adults of course. except me, Carl, and Judith. but being the only kids we have our perks. me and Carl are 15. Judith, a toddler. even though being so young, we do what we have too. we're not afraid to kill. this is our story and how we survived.
Lyric Stevens was just an average girl at the time when everything changed. the dead started coming back to life. upon losing her entire family she rides alone. surviving on what she has, using the skills she's picked up. when one day while searching for supplies, a walker attacks her, but someone saves her. that someone is Carl Grimes, son of Rick Grimes. he brings her back to his group, and that's where their story begins.
i do not own the walking dead(satan knows i wish i did) yes i am using the names of characters, Lyric is a character that i made up myself, and even though i will put some events that have happened in the walking dead in here, half of this is all my creation

Before the outbreak she was a cop just like her brother. After Rick got shot and ended up in a coma the world fell apart. The dead came back and started attacking the living. The military fell too quickly, the city was overrun by the dead and now she was at an old quarry only a few miles outside Atlanta with her Sister-In-Law, Nephew, and her brothers best friend. On the way they met a few more people and now had a small group. She slowly grows close the the youngest Dixon brother, Daryl. When they get back from their hunting trip Daryl learns his brother was handcuffed to a roof and left in the city. But what had YN in complete shock and not knowing how to deal with it is the person who did it. Her brother was alive after she already Mourned his death. She blames herself for not double checking to make sure he was really dead or not. Luckily she has a list of rules and guidelines she has been working on as the days of living in a post apocalyptic world with the living dead to keep her busy.
