I heard the sound of the birds chirping outside my window when I woke. The incessant warbling tearing at my nerves from the first moment. It's supposed to be a lovely wake-up call, but after everything I'd done... everything I'd dreamt the night before... My body fell numb, fingers and toes an icy cold. The damage was done. Everything I'd held dear had been ripped from me in one fell swoop. Directly out of this plane of existence. My parents - gone. My sister - gone. My brother and his wife - gone. Natalia and Ricky - gone. To add salt to the wound, I had no idea where in Near to find them. I know they are there. I hear them. They keep calling out, coming from every direction, never ever stopping. My head is throbbing... I have to find them. I have to go. I have t-All Rights Reserved
