When she was young, Zai's mother, a Mistress of the Wind, died defending her clan from a dragon bearing storm magic. After her mother's death, Zai's father grieved harder than anyone else. In the months following, his underlying doubt foamed and festered. He had Zai under constant guard; separated from the common tribe.
That's when Koroleth showed up. She took advantage of his weary, tentative mind and created a monster.
Balakaar, Koroleth, and the remaining Nokhud centaur abandoned the Windmother and embraced the Storm and its chaotic currents.
The story follows Zai, daughter of Chief Balakaar, the ignoble leader of the Nokhud centaur. She flees her clan in the middle of the night, with a young Shaman she just met, in search of a better way.
     A balanced way.
     And that's just the beginning.
A novel, inspired by the Warcraft Universe.

Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story by Echoes_of_Polaris
11 parts Complete
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me. The cover of the book was drawn and colored by Jennifer Ellzey, and title arrangements were designed by me. Happy Reading :)

Yet, the more her abilities blossom, the more the world fears her. Whispers echo through the kingdom, calling Lili a child touched by the gods, her powers seen as both a gift and a curse. The magic that flows through her veins is so immense that even the most skilled wizards and warriors tremble in her presence, wondering if she is destined to become a savior-or a force too powerful to control. Despite her growing legend, Lili is just a child, carrying the weight of a destiny she doesn't yet understand, isolated from the world by the very power that makes her extraordinary. As dark forces begin to rise, drawn to her magic, Lili must learn to embrace her gifts and find her place in a world that sees her as more than human. With the wisdom of her father, the Archwizard the Master of Sorcerer , and the gentle heart of her mother, the healing sorceress of "Divine healer" , Lili embarks on a journey to discover the true nature of her power-and what it means to be a child of the infinite sky. In Compass, a sprawling metropolis built above the sea, the relationship between Human and Elf has never been better. They work together, hand in hand, to sail great ships, craft tools superior to any other, and fashion clothes that accentuate both races. Having put aside the differences between them, both humankind's empire and the elvish states have come together in many ways. Some start businesses together, venturing into the world of economics. Very few have fallen in love, creating children with elvish and human blood. Many have shared a drink under the light of the stars in open-air taverns that spring up around the town. If anything, Compass is a testament to the ability for all races to come together. Reaching for the North Star, Polaris itself, with each other. A child born from the union between human and elf, in the comforts of high society, finds herself dissatisfied with this vision of Compass. To her, the city speaks in a different tongue, one that does not follow the illusion surrounding it. People do not live together; they merely exist parallel to the other person. She has lived her life hiding from the eyes of society, alone in a house of nobility. Years passed in her life, years full of shame, grief, and loneliness. Losing her home, her status as a noble, and the family name, she ventures out and discovers more than she ever knew about the city. Here is where the story begins. (If anyone would like they could attempt to make a cover art for my god awful attempt at a novel. I hope you enjoy reading this weird tale of mine!)
