In the story of UNDERTOAD, Mr.L was a fallen human with a SOUL of his own after separating from Luigi against all odds. He was dead but came back by the power of DETERMINATION, but a little too late. 

What if he never died the first time? After Dimentio game-overed him, what if Mr.L discovered his ability to *Restart* his game? 

Following the events of SPM, Mr.L is perplexed when he finds a Pixl of all things at his doorstep. And he becomes horrified when he realizes just who that Pixl is... 

The same man who killed him, to be exact. Dimentio. 

However, Pixls tend to lack many memories from their past life, leaving Dimentio ignorant to what he did to deserve being shunned. But that might not stop Mr.L from turning in the Pixl to the people looking for him.

It's an alternate Universe where things used to be a lot darker, so it's by no means canon to either game. The universe is heavily based on Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2, however, though some names are the same, none of those characters from that game are in this.
