Like every other teenager her age, Samantha Mavers is forced to make the most important decision of her life: whether to leave her faction of birth and transfer to a place that suits her best or stay amongst the one that she longer feels welcomed in. Digging deep within herself to come to a conclusion, she decides to transfer from Amity, the faction of peace, to Dauntless, the faction of the brave, with no desire to ever look back.

Though the road into Dauntless is by no means an easy one, Samantha leaves her old name and troubled history behind her and ventures into her new faction determined to make a better life for herself. Yet, even though her plan is to keep to herself for as long as possible, it doesn't take her very long to catch the attention of one her new faction leaders, Eric, and before she knows it she finds herself trapped in the most complex of relationships without any means of escape. Despite finding him dreadful, she now finds herself at another crossroads: does she really want to flee from this man so badly or will their secret relationship allow her to achieve things she never thought possible?All Rights Reserved
