Wilbur feels forgotten by his family. He feels out of place in his own home. Phil is the dad, Techno is the oldest, and Tommy is the youngest. That just leaves him on his own.

'Before we leave, I was wondering something... I noticed that your social worker called you Will and I suppose I'm wondering which name you preferred?' Wilbur was surprised that he noticed such a small thing, but he supposed it accounted for the surprise that he had noticed earlier. 'Oh, I prefer Wilbur if that's okay sir.
