"I set the heavy suitcase down clicked the buttons to open it. Out came the bible and a bell. Traditions and all that. Then a little clay bottle with annointed oil. i picked up the bottle of a fine single malt and set on the dresser. Next came the cross. I put it down next to the whiskey. The girl on the bed growled, i heard her mutter in the diabolical language of the pit. Last, but not least, I slip the barrel of a wide bore hunting rifle into it's stock and flicked it closed with satisfying metallic thunk. It was time to go to work."

When the diabolical legions of lucifer scratch at the reality of the world, the Minisitry of Deliverence stand against them, or at least they do in the United Kingdom. The Ministry has been working for the kings and queens of England for 600 years, smiting demons and devils, and they have a few tricks up their sleeve.
