I did not expect to see what I saw.

There I saw, a tall, lanky, humanoid cat standing before us. He had a fancy black suit with white sleeves that covered his arms to his shoulders. An oversized collar hung from his neck and a silver, dangling bell hung from it. His pelt color was similar to a Siamese's, however, what differed from that species was his blue pupils and black scleras. He had a relaxed expression, drooped eyes, relaxed eyebrows, and a small smile on his face.

My eyes grew wide and stumbled backward, almost falling. "Huh!?"

Lizzie had a similar reaction to me, except she tried reaching for the crowbar on her back. She gasped. "Where's our stuff!?" She'd search, patting down herself.

The tall cat-being raised his paws slightly. "Relax, relax. I had to take your stuff from you for that exact reason," He placed a hand on the back of his neck with a sheepish expression. "Anyways, it's quite rude to take your stuff without addressing myself-"

Lizzie charged at the cat with a loud war cry.

Something in your head makes you want to believe you can trust them but in the back of your mind, you sense something is wrong.. disturbingly wrong.
