Rapunzel was sent a month early to the particular kingdom with her lady-in-waiting by her side. Rapunzel wanted to spend the time she have left with Eugene so the ladies did something reckless. They switched. For a month, Cassandra would act as a princess while Rapunzel as a lady-in-waiting so she could sneak out to meet Eugene. They were going to reveal the truth after a month. It was all part of the plan. What if things don't go the way they expected it? The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol.
