  I slowly stand, startling the other wolf. My vision fades in and out before sharpening. My mind starts to drift before being set back in place by a stern thought. The thought being, I will not give up. Something shifts in me as I stand straighter. I am alpha, I will be obeyed. I feel my will reach out and watch as the other wolf whimphers. I reach inside me and think. I am alpha, I will be obeyed. The thought starts to repeat over and over, becoming more of a chant. Each repetition causes the other wolf to cower and whimper. Each repetition it gets stronger and stronger, until... I howl.
