Beautiful, quirky, shy and kind, Kirkland Sophia Turner has worked hard for all of her 21 years, first trying to survive the foster care system in Washington state, then finding a way to get and pay for her education and finally pursuing her nursing degree. By working in a succession of restaurants and bars, she knew what it took to earn a paycheck, she has the callouses and circles under eyes to prove it. At no point did she prepare for the 6'6 blue eyed biker that decided that she was his at first glance. Hell, she had no idea if there was a way to prepare for the tsunami that was Grayson Baxter. Gray was an incredible club brother, an awesome friend, an all-around good guy to those to whom he respected and cared for. For the rest of the world he was a physically intimidating behemoth of a man who gave zero f*cks about what others outside of his circle thought of him. He'd grown up in the a picture perfect home that was full of love, support and pride, just not for him. His family wasn't sad when he gave them a one finger wave in his rear view mirror when he finished high school, he left and never looked back. This is an unedited first draft ... suggestions and comments are truly appreciated! Finding his place in the world, with his by choice, not by blood family was great. Finding the sweet little nurse in his clubs bar? Well, that was just more than he could of ever hoped for.
